Something I am testing out in the field that I think should be used in the field when you are looking for E.V.P. is a RF Detectors. These devices were originally designed by the secret service to find taps, bugs, and other type of surveillances devices.
Now as most tools we use in the field they were not made for the type of investigations that we use, but a rf detector depending on the type you can pick up radio, cell, even cb waves, some can also pick up different video singles.
This tool would go help you rule out various sources of the evp you are recording and help you authenticate it, or it may help you find one, as we are not sure what wave frequency the evp is recorded on, you could use it to detect weak sound sources.
No matter how you use it , I think it is and will be a invaluable tool in the field.
The one my old group used was a simple model that would beep if any of those said waves was in a area of recording. We would log the time spot and strength. Latter when we would play back the tape, we would use it to pin point spots in the recording that the RF Detector picked up, and rule them out. _________________ "There are things that go bump in the night, we are the one's who bump back"
