This is probably going to be long, read it if you want to.
The other day I was sitting around and thought I would put my general beliefs on paper. I really don't believe in just one thing, not really.
So here it is, you may fing something in there you agree or disagree with.

I BELIEVE:

1. In reincarnation, progressing to higher levels until enlightenment. Or taking a step down .
2. That we are all a part of a whole, all beings are connected.
3. God, Gods, etc, is an ocean, draw ot a pitcher, we are that, still connected but an individual. When we pass on, we are poured back into that collective whole.
4. In angels and Demons and Daemons (helpfu spirits). I don't believe in Hell but that evil is real. Angels and Demons, spirits, are on a different plain but accesable to us. I believe that angels have their Demon sides and demons thier angel sides or aspects, therefore, theya re on and the same. And each side or aspect has thier own names. We can call on these different names for magic, different purposes.
5. That there are many Gods, or one great being with many names and many aspects.
6.IN fallen Angels but not all of them are evil like widely believed.
7. That Jesus was Gods son but so was Budha, Krishna, Muhammad, etc. All parts or aspects of God. Sent to earth to that specific region to teach those specific lessons and that appointed time frame.
8.That the bible, Torah, Talmud, Koran, are all great books of learning made by man, maybe spiritually inspired but so are many other books.
9.In a collective conscience.
10. In all psychic and intuitive, and healing abliities but I do not believe in all psychics (etc).
11. Charging people to help them out.
12.IN Karma
13. In Magick. Many, many different aspects of magick. I do not believe in the "three fold law'". I do believe that what needs to be done, needs to be done-period. Magick is not always pretty.
14. That we create our own hell.
15. KNowlege is power. People need to have an open mind to the endless possibilities.
16. Magick is a physical prayer. And or and intent sent out and made strong with energies.
17. No religion has it right but notice that most belief systems have a lot of things in common. Perhaps these small things are the "right" way????
18. IN the Chabalah teachings. The many different levels of heaven, or spirit rhelm.
19. That spirits are those who have past on or are higher beings and ghosts are those who have not passed on.
20. WE can communicate with them all in one way or another.

Very interesting and thank you for sharing your beliefs, Jewitch. I believe in a few of those things myself. It's really interesting to see what people do/don't believe in.

I think Jewitch's post also reflects the changing times. A lot more people are becoming eclectic in their belifs and starting t combine a lot of things from many different religions. Thtat's what I've done over the past as well. I was raised Catholic, got interested in Paganism for a long time and then became drawn to Buddhism. I studied religion at Grand Valley and just find all religion fasinating.

I find all belief systems interesting to.
If a degree in theology would produce a well paying job, that would be the field that I'd go into.

There used to be paranormal degrees offered in American colleges too back in the day. I think with all the interest again, some school is bound to incorporate something into their degrees, even if it's just an emphasis to a psychology degree.

Seriously though, I believe in a Supreme being
Doing unto others what you would want done unto you. I also believe taht theres more to life and death than we currently are aware of that we do go on to another plane of existance once the physical body has ceased to function. That God is God is God and he/she doesn't care how you honor but do honor him/her.
That your actions will affect the balance of nature
I believe that ALL people are created EQUAL

Well I am gonna probably get chewed up and spit out for posting this...but hey thats never stopped me before.

Kento as much as I would like to say we are all created equally, it is not true. We can not all be equal and yet all be different in our own rights. If we were all equal then we would all be the same, there would be no Pysics, no athletes, no gifted writers, none of that.

In truth the only thing we are equal in is that we all are going to die, or mortality is what links together, we all are born and we all will pass over. That being said, I do believe God does give us each gifts to better this world, to take care of what he he/she has given us. To help our fellow man/woman and to have compassion and love.

lost, I was speaking to the current state of affairs where people are judged by the color of their skin or shape of their eyes, etc. we are all individuals that have unique gifts that sets us apart from one another yet brings us together as humans.
This is going to sound so naive and dumb but I've never understood why I couldn't play with certain kids or hang around certain people and NO ONE could adequetly (can't spell) explain to me why. I know my upbringing will tell on me in certain phrases and unconscious behavior but I've always tried to see people as human beings. I see the differences but have always felt that it didn't matter, what was inside a person was what was more important. How one treats one another tells me a lot about that person.

My husband is part Native American and on his dad's side of the family they will worship the "Great Spirit". I asked him what the Great Spirit was and he said God. Plain and Simple. We all have different names for it. Although the newer generations of his family are Christian. They still practice a lot of the Native American rituals but their religious view's changed a bit. My husband and his Aunt and Uncle are really into Christianity and their Native culture. It goes good together actually.

Ok here is my .02 worth lol. I believe that there is some truth in all fiction, and I believe that no one religion is 100% correct or the "right" religion , I believe that if you could some how take cerien parts form all religions you would probablly come up with the "perfect" religion . I do believe in god but I also believe in evolution .

http://www.flamelcollege.org/paranormal.htm this one offers online studies...... to get a certificate..... so become a UFOlogist

A growing number of respected, accredited colleges offer courses and degree programs in studies related to parapsychology and the paranormal. Here are a few offering solid academic opportunities.
Universities with courses in paranormal studies and parapsychology degrees

UK

* Edinburgh - The University of Edinburgh is among the most highly respected in the field of parapsychology, and has awarded parapsychology degrees. Their Koestler Parapsychology Unit hosts considerable psi-related research.

* Hertfordshire - Professor Richard Weisman researches luck and paranormal-related phenomena at the University of Hertfordshire.

USA

* Arizona - The Center for Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona offers many courses that focus on issues related to alternative and paranormal studies. These include web-based courses as well as on-campus resources.

* New Jersey - Princeton University takes a slightly different approach with Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR), with a focus on the "Scientific Study of Consciousness-Related Physical Phenomena" including paranormal studies and remote perception.

* North Carolina - Duke University's Rhine Research Center is "an Institute for the Study of Consciousness," and offers many psi-related courses, workshops, and seminars.

JAPAN

* The International Society of Life Information Science (ISLIS) offers academic symposia and parapsychology research opportunities.

NETHERLANDS

* Amsterdam - The Psychology department at the University of Amsterdam has offered courses in paranormal studies. In July 2006, parapsychology courses were not featured at their website, which is in Dutch. With further research, you may find their courses, or they may feature them later. (Also see the nearby University of Utrecht courses, below.)

* Utrecht - Professor Dick J. Bierman at the University of Utrecht (UU) offers an Internet-based introduction to parapsychology. The University (on-campus) also offers courses in related fields.
