LOL! Thanks for the purple disclaimer Steve. But I see your point. Like we've been saying for a long time on these forums, the TV shows have caused a lot of problems for the paranormal and it's so called "serious side." There have been valid attempts in the past to try and use scientific means to get to the bottom of what we call paranormal. Duke University in the earlier part of the 20th century had a whole department devoted to the study of the paranormal - namely ESP as did our very own government! I think there is validity in studying the paranormal and trying to figure out what it is that everyone is experiencing, but will it be discovered with a ghost hunting "team" with matching t-shirts and jackets? Probably not. And I agree with you too Steve that many home owners do "have their minds made up," - more so these days than in the past. That's one of the reasons I really started to dislike home investigations. You call the people up a few days later after reviewing evidence, tell them you didn't find anything conclusive - but you did find a leaky pipe that's making a sound like the ones they are reporting, and they are on the Internet looking for the next ghost group to come investigate their house and give them the answer they are looking for. We've had it happen.
