ahhh ok I get what you're saying:)

Another band that is perfect for the paranormal and creating beautiful and spooky atmosphere in their music is Opeth! If you haven't heard of them make sure to check them out if you like metal. Amazing band and one of my favorites of all time.

i'm suprised Cannibal Corpes hasn't been mentioned, with all the metalheads here.
how about One by Metallica or Good God by Korn.
right there with Amber on the NIN thing I was 10, but they were one of my first concerts, State Theater in K-Zoo kicks butt

Yeah I'm a total metal head. I was raised in it with all the old bands back in the 80's when metal was on the rise. Early thrash bands and all that stuff. I'm not a huge Metallica fan but I like a of their earlier stuff. Ride The Lightening is probably my favorite album by them.
I used to be really into Korn and a lot of the Nu Metal bands that came out in the 90's because that was my Junior high/High school days but then I went back to a lot of earlier stuff later on in my tastes. I like early Korn but their last albums have been lacking for me big time. One of my favorite bands from that era is still the Deftones by far.

And yes, Cannibal Corpse is great. I saw them two summers ago on the Sounds of the Underground tour. I love George Corpsegrinder and how he sings. I love when he starts in because he flips his hair in front of his face! LOL! I love that! Obituary is another good death metal band I just saw recently. We got to meet a few of the band members. We didn't get to meet the Tardy brothers though. I got my picture with all the guitarists, including the guy filling in right now from Deicide which was cool although he was kinda a drunk ass when I met him.

I've been really into Opeth recently and just about all of my favorite bands are coming out with new albums this year: In Flames, Opeth, Deftones, Immortal, Coldworker, Danko Jones (not metal but awesome!) and a whole bunch of others have some stuff coming out this year I'm looking forward too.

Smile ::Amber smiles down from the chair of Heavy Metal wisdom:: "Yes...he'll learn...."

Actually my tastes in music have changed a lot over the years. I'm starting to get to that point where what I hear on the radio...the "new" stuff...all sucks. LOL.

I'VE GOT A LOVELY BUNCH OF COCANUTS!!! lol

I usually listen to Until the End by Breaking Benjamin whenever I want to get into the zone for something.

If I want to brighten the mood I play Ike Ike (Go Go) by Hinoi Team.
