I thought we had a topic on this already, but I did not see it. Amber's group run in at Findlay Cemetery inspired me to write this.

So here we were out investigating Washington Memorial Cemetery in Walker. We had been there about an hour looking into rumors of the normal stuff, shadow people, murdered victim, strange voices heard. We were asked to go back on behalf of another member who had been there with a previous group.

So we have had about an hour of Investigation going on, turning up nothing, but was planning on making one more trip around, when some members of the group noticed spot lights on our car. Knowing it was the police, I told the rest of the group to finish there etching, and Sean and I walked up to meet the officers.

"Hi" I said

"What are you doing here sir ?" asked the cop

"I am working on a documentary that will be aired off the web, I did not see any posted hours, and everywhere inquired said that it would be fine to be in here." I replied

"How many are with you ? Not smoking the weed ?" asked the second cop.

"Lets see theres 4,5,7 of us all together." Sean Replied

"You know Cemeteries are like parks, and city ordinance prohibits you to be out here after dark." said the one cop, as Sean called the others in on the two way.

"Well no, I did not, had I known that we would not be here." I replied.

"So you said its a documentary, whats your sight address."

Note this was after the slandered questions about your birth date, age, and address as it seams I left my wallet at home.

"orsp.free-web-hosting.biz" I replied back

"So whats on your site ?" asked the cop

"The local legends, The ada witch, various other places we have been to." I said as if it was the most natural thing in the world, and I did not understand why he was asking that

"So just the local legends, I have not seen anything like that back here, and I drive through here the whole time." said the cop

"Yeah, I can see that and thanks for the information." I said

and they let us go

There is two morals to the lesson here
1)Never forget your wallet
2)Never run from the cops, always be straight up and honest. They will treat you with respect if you give them respect.

Hahahahah! Your first run in:) Your right...as long as you are honest with them they are usually pretty cool. But I did not know that cemeteries are treated like "parks." That's probably good to know.

I had 2 run in's with cop's.. And I am not even on a team. haha. It was just me and friends of mine checking things out. The cop the first time was a total butt-head and the second time the cop just gave us a warning. I go to Mouth cemetary a lot more because it's out there in the woods kind of and cop's cant just drive by.

I think the park rule is stupid. My husband and I will walk to our park like at 2am just to watch the water and the boats (our park is on the lake) or to swing. We are not causing any trouble. Oh well. What can ya do.
