Do it Yourself Magnetometers

As I haven't spoke about Magnetometers and how to use them in a Ghost Hunt, I will do so now.

A Magnetometer is simply a meter that detects Magnetic Abnormality.

A Hypothesis I once read spoke about the negative and positive charges, in fact Amber has a hypothesis on her site dealing with the power drain syndrome faced by Ghost Hunters. Well magnet's as you all know work on the same ideal of a positive and a negative charge, This is the basis behind the Compass Post I had placed up.

What this will do is if there is a strong Magnetic presence (Which your Emf Detectors will show as well) , this will point the location of the abnormality.Think of them as a early warning system. I am having three of these built, until the team can afford some to place in the room each team is in. If there is a flux in the Magnetic Waves of the house, the pointer will sense it and turn the laser pointer allowing us to know where to place cameras and video.

On the other note, it can also help us sort out data on a house, such as finding strong normal magnetic waves in the house, that could be transmitted by Stereo Speakers, and the like.

Magnetic Waves work on the Iron in the body, we all know some common conditions of the Iron not reaching its destinations are Anemia (To Low Iron), and Magnetic Waves can cause Shortness in Breath, as well as a drianed feeling, and I think a host of others.

I thought this would make another good place for a test you can run on the Magnetic Waves.

3D MAGNETIC AND ELECTRIC FIELD VIEWING BOTTLE

This should be used when you find Magnetic Waves or Electrostatics Waves. By documenting patterns you may be able to detect what kind of waves cause certain patterns, thus helping you rule out possible natural causes and backing up your evidence.

You almost have to wonder if you made this bottle with the steel wool in it and brought it to a "haunted" location, if on it's own, the shavings might move if something is in the area....

Well i was thinking something like that. If you placed this in an area and a remote camera

and the iron fillets moved you have some proof that a magnetic field did move through that area. We all know Ghost are thought to be based on the electro magnetic Field at about 2 mg. That is enough of a charge if it was a magnetic wave to move the filaments from across the room.
