Hey all-
I have been doing a long research project on the commonly used EMF meters utilized by the paranormal community. Obviously analog meters are cheaper and easier to come by...all of which are single axis (other than the Trifield). A lot of the more expensive digital meters are still single axis and still need to be twisted and turned in all directions in order to get a correct reading.
I understand the benefits of both kinds of meters...Analog gives you the visual gratification of a JUMP on the scale, where as digital gives you exact numbers for accurate data recording.
What I am curious of is if a simple circuit/meter could be utilized with an analog meter that will provide it with a digital display as well as the analog. I'm just curious...one could get the visual JUMPS as well as the accurate numbers...or this could mean the cheap analogs could be converted to digital display meters (if the price is worthwhile).
Either utilizing a multimeter connected to the circuit of the EMF meter, or something similar to these?:

Any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks!
